The Owners have been in their New Home for a few months now and are just facing up to their first winter. With a state of the art Heat Pump system providing both hot water for the home and for the underfloor heating, this won’t be a problem.!

Solarchitect will be monitoring the home with the owners over the first year and helping fine tune the systems. With a PV system on the roof we are hoping to go close to a Net Energy Zero (NEO) home and we’ll keep you posted.

Heating and Hot water, the two big issues dealt with, the home is well orientated for natural heating and cooling, high levels of insulation perhaps go without saying..!

Other energy efficient systems include LED lighting throughout and Owner selected efficient appliances.
